Recommended for neuromuscular taping and other kinesiological applications such as the treatment of muscular, joint, ligament and neurological injuries. It improves the patient's posture thanks to the sensorimotor information it provides, facilitates lymphatic drainage, reduces pain, improves superficial microcirculation and allows movement.

Frequent questions
Hipoalergic Kin is an excellent kinesiological tool indicated for the treatment of muscular, joint, neurological and ligament injuries. It promotes the necessary conditions of the organism for a fast recovery process, contributing to the reduction of inflammation and pain relief.
It supports muscles and joints, relieves pain and reduces inflammation while allowing patients full range of motion in daily practice, hospital settings and sports communities.
The main benefits include:
- Provides support and stability.
- Helps prevent injuries.
- Accelerates the recovery process.
- Improves posture.
- Facilitates lymphatic drainage and circulation.
- Provides total freedom of movement.
- It has a wave-shaped adhesive pattern that generates the therapeutic effect.
- It has a protective paper to control the extension and facilitate manipulation.
- It is easy to cut and leaves no adhesive residue on the scissors.
- Stretches to work with the natural elasticity of the skin.
- Easy to apply and remove.
- Leaves no adhesive residue after removal.
- It has good initial adhesion and reliable long-term adhesion.
- The fabric is breathable, permeable to air and water vapor.
- It is water resistant to allow water sports and showering.
- The edges do not fray.
- Latex free.
When applied correctly, Hypoallergic Kin gently lifts the skin, creating space between the skin and underlying tissues to improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage, enhancing the body's natural healing process. This helps reduce pressure and inflammation, improve blood circulation and promote healing. In addition, the tape provides proprioceptive feedback, which can improve body awareness and movement patterns.
The tape is applied using specific techniques, whereby the tape is placed over and around the muscles to provide support, without affecting circulation or range of motion. In this way, Hypoallergic Kin promotes the body's own healing process while allowing complete freedom of movement.
The application of Hipoalergic Kin can achieve pain reduction, tissue tone regulation, improved innervation, better lymphatic drainage, improved blood circulation, passive support (e.g. ligaments) and mechanical correction.
- Skin: Increased regeneration for small skin defects (e.g. small lacerated wounds or abrasions) with appropriate pretreatment.
- Connective tissue/fascia: Tone changes, restrictions.
- Joints: Ligament injuries, instability, hypermobility, arthritis, various painful conditions, swelling.
- Muscles: Muscle injuries (strains, torn fibers, atrophy, changes in tone).
- Lymphatic system: Lymphatic drainage disorders.
- Nervous tissue: Nerve irritation syndromes.
- Blood vessels: Impaired blood flow.
- Fascia: Dysfunctions.
Hipoalergic Kin is made with a rigorously tested medical grade acrylic adhesive, ensuring both safety and efficacy.
However, we recommend that you test before full use to see if your skin reacts to the tape. To do this, cut a small piece of tape and place it where you want to apply it. The skin should be dry and clean before applying the tape.
If irritation, hives or pain occur, remove the tape immediately and discontinue use.
Yes, you can apply the tape yourself, as long as you follow some basic instructions. However, it is important to keep in mind that for best results and to avoid possible mistakes, it is best to have someone with knowledge and experience in the technique perform the application.
Here are some tips on how to apply the tape correctly:
Know the basic technique:
Neuromuscular taping is used to relieve pain, improve circulation or support muscle function. Depending on the area and target, the application may vary. Make sure you know the pattern and tension to apply in each case. There are different ways to place the tape depending on whether you are looking to activate or inhibit a muscle, reduce inflammation, or relieve pain.
- Tension: The tension you put on the tape is key. In general, you should apply the tape with moderate tension (without overstretching it), but that depends on the purpose.
- Direction: The direction of the tape will depend on the area to be treated. If you are working with a muscle, the tape is generally placed following the direction of the muscle or joint to be supported.
If you are unsure about how to apply it or the specific area you want to treat, it is helpful to consult with a physical therapist or healthcare professional who can guide you in the application. This is especially important if you have any injuries or chronic pain, as incorrect application can aggravate the problem.
- Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
- Unroll and cut with scissors the amount needed for the application. You can use the lines printed on the silicone paper as a reference to obtain the desired length and width.
- Round off the ends of the tape for better adhesion.
- Tear and remove a small section (approx. 3-5 cm) from one end of the silicone paper.
- Apply only the bare edge of the tape without stretching it.
- Continue applying the tape with the necessary tension while removing the remaining silicone paper.
- To finish, rub the tape to activate the adhesive and secure the edges by pressing gently.
To remove the tape, we recommend the following removal instructions:
1. To facilitate the process apply warm water and soap or baby oil directly on the tape.
2. Wait about 5 to 10 minutes for the adhesive to soften.
3. Remove the tape slowly in the direction of hair growth.
4. To minimize discomfort, apply light pressure to the skin in the opposite direction of removal.
It is not recommended to remove the kinesiology tape in the shower, as the adhesive is activated by heat.
Hypoallergic Kin applications are designed for single use only and cannot be reapplied after they have been removed. Each application is designed to be used continuously for several days while sleeping, showering, exercising and performing all of your daily activities.
We detail some situations for which its use and application would be contraindicated:
- Do not apply on open wounds as these are not sterile bandages and are not intended for that purpose.
- It is possible that people with skin hypersensitivity, allergies or atopic skin may have a reaction or rejection to this material. If so, it should be removed immediately.
- If you have any type of skin lesion such as eczema, burns or psoriasis, it should not be applied to the affected area.
- It is not recommended for people with circulatory problems and risk of thrombi, since it exerts a stimulating alteration in the circulatory system.
- People suffering from diabetes should be aware that this type of tapes can alter the correct absorption of insulin.
- During pregnancy, avoid any bandage that may affect the uterine area.
